| A lot has happened since I last updated.
I got a new camera and computer but not the camera that I had on my last entry it is a cannon.
The FAIR WAS GREAT.
The cruise TOO FUN.
I am nervous about college...18 hours is too much...maybe I can drop some....sigh...
I really like how I can find out about people through facebook. Lauren won't tell me people's names anymore I guess because she doesn't want we judging her new friends.....or she doesn't trust me.
I get to see Lauren and K'Ann tomorrow.
I think I have my fraternity stuff pretty much well-organized... I got Joey Kilgore to write me a rec for Sigma Nu and I know Clark in Sigma Nu. I got Dr. Joe Jordan and Bill Yates to write me a rec for Sigma Chi. And I'm getting my Great Uncle Bob to write me one for KA. But I still want to be open to anything.
I was just trying to remember a word to go in the last sentence it still hasn't come to me.
I kind of miss the high school days:
- Hanging out on the weekends at people's houses who I had never met before,
- Seeing everybody and his/her mother at school,
- feeling like I was sneaking out getting Mrs. Lynetta and me lunch,
- having easy classes,
- getting out at 1:45,
- that discount at Steve's,
- our "independent study" government class,
- Wednesday nights,
- going over to Ryan and Abby's,
- fussing with Lauren,
- giving Rachel relationship advice when she has had more experience than me,
- not washing my own clothes,
- busting loops,
- "the dip" in Neshoba Central's parking lot,
- messing with Senora Reed in Espanol II,
- stopping by the art room and talking to Mrs. Mills all the time,
- Mrs. Games's "accents" and motivational strategies,
- seeing Mrs. Flemming smile and laugh too much,
- hanging out in the poolhouse,
- beating Charleigh at cartwheel contests,
- going to Prom,
- b.s.ing on essays,
- finding out about what is going on in people's lives by what they put on xanga,
- even though I fuss, listening to Thomas play the guitar and singing along with him,
- the fairgrounds pre-fair,
- a big bed to sleep in,
- not having to make new friends because people already know you,
- being at every football game,
- REDNECK EVE,
- bonfires at the turn-around/corridor/little shady and at Thomas's grandparent's camp house,
- curfew as an excuse to leave when you are too tired,
- singing in big church,
- long walks down Edgewater with Reagan and Elizabeth,
- listening to Andrew once he gets started on something he likes to talk about and knows a lot about,
- going over to the Coffee Bean with Charlotte and Joyce and Paige Posey asking me if I wanted "the usual,"
- walking over to Stribling's to get a break from the hectic life at Steve's on the Square,
- senior parking lot,
- getting together and coping each other's Chemistry and Physics packets,
- not having to study except for Mr. Myer's class,
- MBASYC&O,
- worrying about tardies and making jokes about how ridiculous they were,
- when Andrew would have the Adam Byrd meetings and we would have shrimp and BBQ sandwiches,
- coming home to a supper I didn't have to buy with my own money,
- seeing Jamie and Jillian at work,
- getting life advice from Tony,
- flirting with teachers,
- Katy talking about how she, Chelsea, and me are arranged alphabetically,
- the lunch table,
- being friends with more than just one group of people,
- give older ladies in the church big hugs,
- impersonating Johnny Cash,
- bumping and grinding with Reagan whenever we got the chance,
- making people dance when they don't think they will like and then they come out loving it,
- hanging out with Morgan and her family,
- going out to eat with Jamie,
- worrying about getting pulled over because the cop knows your daddy and your momma and used to go to church with your grandparents,
- eating lunch with Grandma and Pop-o,
- riding four wheelers with Grandpa,
- riding four wheelers out at Rachel's house,
- when choosing a college was the only thing I really had to worry about,
- half-reading boring people's xanga's and getting emotionally involved in interesting xanga's,
- sneaking into Jr.'s, that sketchy bar in kemper, without paying,
- Bible Drill,
- when people would bring me food and meet me at the bottom of the hill by Mrs. Thrash's room,
- playing freeze-out,
- road-trips to Long Beach, Starkville, Oxford, and Louisville,
- hearing Momma fuss about the school system,
- people catching me singing to the radio when I am alone in the car,
- when just a peck on the lips was a big deal,
- aggravating Mollie and Samuel.
wow how time has flown...
I always get nervous when I make long entries that something will mess up and it will all be erased.
visit me when in oxford,
